Mommy Update

So, at 6 weeks left, I am feeling pretty good. It is Winter Break, so I have plenty of time to rest. I have been exercising more (wii fit and a yoga for pregnant chicks dvd), and sleep hasn't been too much of a problem. Overall, I feel really well. I had meant to blog about every detail about pregnancy, but I don't feel much different. I have had a little bit of heart burn again, but nothing like I had during the summer! Also, my hips can be a little sore at times,usually in the morning - but nothing awful, and my lower back of course gets sore at times - but that's to be expected.

When I first started drinking lots of water, baby started moving a whole lot. Now he is getting bigger and his movement has slowed down again, but the kick counts, for the most part, go really well. Some days, he moves a ton - other days, not as much. Yesterday, I felt a whole lot of squirming but not a lot of kicking. Right now, he has what I think are hiccups - it has happened a few times in the past, too.

Also on my mind are the upcoming labor and delivery. I am not too worried about it at this point, and I am not very scared. I just feel like women have survived this for centuries - and most women do it again - so it is obviously doable. I have had funny dreams about delivery, though - like dreaming that I was checking into a lovely beach-view room at Hotel Hoag to deliver my baby - LOL - for some reason I don't think the experience will be THAT pleasant!
