22 weeks and 3 days - Dr. appointment

I had another doctor's appointment yesterday. This one was slightly more fun then my others. I got my "26 week" bag with all of the third trimester info - like when to go to the doctor, etc. I also got the info for my glucose check - I hope that orange soda stuff isn't awful tasting. I also got a "kick count" paper to start keeping track of the baby's kicks starting in a few weeks. Lots of good reading material.

I've gained 12 pounds so far.

Babies heart rate was 145 bpm, which is right in the middle of where it should be.

We also went over the ultrasound I had on Sep. 19th. He is completely within normal range on all measurements, but on the small side of each range.  All the measurements were average for around 18 weeks and 2 - 5 days, except for his arms, which were at the average for 19 weeks 0 days. The important thing is that all the measurements are within a few days of each other, which they are! Baby has long arms! Also, becasue he is a little smaller, the ultrasound suggested a due date of Feb. 16, however, due dated on a 19 week ultrasound have a 14 day range of being accurate - while the first one I had was much more accurate - so Feb. 10 is still the due date.

So baby is growing well. The nurse practitioner seemed very pleased with how everything is progressing with me, the pregnancy, and my baby!
